Homem trans dá à luz e desabafa sobre críticas: "Meu filho é feliz e saudável"

O homem trans Wyley Simpson deu à luz seu primeiro filho com o noivo, Stephan Gaeth, em setembro do ano passado, e tem usado as redes sociais para rebater mensagens negativas sobre a sua família. 

"Não vou mentir, a onda de negatividade e ódio contra minha família é doentia. Machuca. Tudo o que estou tentando fazer é compartilhar minha história e eu entendo se vocês não querem aceitar nossa família, mas fazer isso é mais do que infantilidade", desabafou ele em post publicado no início deste mês no Instagram. "Há muitos tipos de famílias, incluindo a minha. Os comentários machucam, mas não vão me impedir de ser um pai. Sim, eu sou um pouco diferente, mas genitais não definem quem você é como indivíduo. Nunca definiram e nunca irão. Meu filho é feliz e saudável, e irá crescer sendo capaz de expressar quem ele é como pessoa e será mais fácil do que foi para mim. Ele saberá tudo sobre mim e de onde eu vim", finalizou - veja os posts abaixo. 

Morador do Texas (Estados Unidos), Wyley deu à luz o pequeno Rowan Fox em 5 de setembro e teve a gestação acompanhada pelo programa de TV "Extreme Love", que mostra casais não convencionais pelo mundo. À época, ele falou sobre os desafio da gravidez inesperada e descreveu sua transição de gênero - iniciada em 2012.

"Sempre me senti desconfortável em meu corpo feminino. Sempre me senti diferente, como se estivesse preso em algo que não vejo como eu", contou. "A puberdade foi um grande ponto de virada para mim. Eu queria que meu peito desaparecesse. Queria ter pelos faciais, mas não sabia nada sobre transexualidade. Não sabia como explicar isso", finalizou, acrescentando que ainda tem planos de fazer cirurgia íntima para implante de pênis.

I'm not going to lie the flooding of negativity and hate against my family is sickening . It hurts . All I am trying to do is share my story and I get it if you don't want to accept our family but to throw shade like that it's beyond childish . It's 2019 and families are not just black or white , thers not just heterosexual , gay , or straight . There are many different types of families including myself . The comments hurt but it will never stop me from being a father . Yes I am a little bit different and some assembly required in the future but genitals doesn't define who you are as an individual . Its crazy beyond belief how many negative comments there are out there directed towards myself or family . I knew it was the inevitable when sharing my story and I'm not surprised just feels very sickening . You dont have to agree with me but c ok me on stop being childish and making rude hateful comments . It's not cute or tough. It's just plain ignorance ... This is why I decided to share my story This is why I decided to be public To be visible To take the hurt and pain when others put there cant speak up at the moment.
